SIR Meccanica will display its new patented portable in-line boring/overlay welding machine tools for restoring worn pivot points to their original dimensions on Stand 620 during Reed Exhibitions ' AIMEX 2007 – Asia Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition, to be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from September 4 to 7, 2007.
Besides line boring and overlay welding (also for blind holes), SIR Meccanica's products can also perform drilling, tapping, threading, facing, external machining and grooving (for circlips) operations with a single machine.
These multifunctional machines are portable, and cab be set up on site within minutes. They are compact and lightweight, yet sufficiently robust to undertake heavy duty machining with minimal vibration, to desired tolerances. The machines have an electronic control panel, and have automated control of feed and rotation.
