SEW-Eurodrive will be celebrating 25 years in Australia, as well as showcasing its Australian-assembled MC Compact industrial gear unit on Stand 4606 during National Manufacturing Week 2007 at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, from May 22 to 25.
As part of its 25-year celebrations, SEW-Eurodrive will be offering free tours of its head office manufacturing facilities in Tullamarine.
The tour will leave nightly from the SEW-Eurodrive stand and tour visitors will be able to inspect the new MC Compact assembly facility, as well as enjoy free refreshments from the SEW bar.
With the MC Compact industrial gear unit now assembled in Melbourne, SEW-Eurodrive is able to offer customers faster delivery times, minimising downtime and delays.
The MC Compact series is offered in a range of torque ratings, along with various mounting arrangements and configuration options.
Also on display will be the Movifit decentralised drive system, the Movigear mechatronic drive system and the Movitrac LT general purpose frequency inverter range.
