Rimex Australia has introduced TyreSense tyre monitoring system at Stand 5425 during AIMEX 2007 – Asia Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition, to be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from September 4 to 7, 2007.
TyreSense uses innovative technology to electronically monitor and display the actual temperature and pressure inside the tyre chamber.
A sensor screwed into the wheel/rim transmits data wirelessly to a display unit in the cab. Alerts are logged where the readings fall outside high/low ranges set by the user.
The onboard receiving unit can store up to three years of data on six wheel positions. This data can be downloaded to a PC or pocket PC.
TyreSense displays the data in easy-to-understand charts and graphs, allowing ready analysis of tyre performance and highlighting when corrective action is required. Data can be exported into an Excel spreadsheet.
