The third edition of the Queensland Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (QMan) offered by Reed Exhibitions will again provide the state’s manufacturing sector with a showcase of the latest technology and services when it returns to Brisbane’s Convention & Exhibition Centre from October 21 to 23.
QMan 2008 has attracted support from the new industry partners, including platinum sponsor Blackwoods, plus the Australian Industry Group, the Association for Manufacturing Excellence and QMI Solutions.
“It also complements Reed Exhibitions’ National Manufacturing Week (NMW) exhibitions, which alternate between Sydney and Melbourne each year – with this year’s event to be held in Sydney in late May.
“With Reed Exhibitions’ recent purchase of the Manufacturing Technology in Focus (MTIF) exhibition, Reed Exhibitions is organiser of major manufacturing industry exhibitions in Australia, allowing to deliver strong synergies to exhibitors and visitors involved with all the manufacturing events,” said John Gorton, Reed Exhibitions’ director, industrial.
“Already for QMan, Reed Exhibitions has a strong line up of leading manufacturing sector suppliers committed to exhibiting, while over 90% of visitors from the 2006 edition of QMan indicated they were likely to attend this year’s event.
“All these factors combine to put Reed Exhibitions on track for QMan 2008,” said Gorton.
