Suppliers looking to promote their products to Queensland's fast-growing manufacturing sector will have a prime opportunity during the Queensland Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (QMan) 2006, to be held in Brisbane from October 17-19.
With more than 100 exhibitors expected to take space at the event, QMAN 2006 is the major event for the state's manufacturing industry.
It is owned and organised by Reed Exhibitions , which also runs the highly successful National Manufacturing Week exhibition, held annually and alternating between Sydney and Melbourne.
QMan provides Queensland-based manufacturing operations with the opportunity to see the latest manufacturing technology and developments at a high-quality venue at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Major exhibitors who have already taken space at QMan 2006 include Robotic Automation, Advanced Robotic Technology, SEW Eurodrive, Welding Industries of Australia, Nitto Kohki, Multicam Systems, Champion Compressors, Davidson Measurement, Linde Materials Handling, Burkert Fluid Control Systems and Macnaught.
The exhibition has also attracted strong support from Queensland industry associations, with QMI Solutions (previously known as the Queensland Manufacturing Institute) coming on board as a Gold Partner.
This package, which includes promotion of the event to its members and other organisations, incorporates the QMI Solutions Centre, where seminars and workshops will be held throughout QMan.
Please visit the QMan website for links to the QMI Solutions Centre delegate registration and to view the seminar program.
Also partnering with QMan is Commerce Queensland, with the organisation encouraging Queensland-based manufacturing equipment supplier members to exhibit at the show, and actively promoting the event to its members.
"QMan 2006 is shaping up to be a very strong and successful event for suppliers of manufacturing equipment, systems and services to the Queensland manufacturing sector," said John Gorton, director, industrial with Reed Exhibitions.
"Australia's manufacturing sector is currently very buoyant and, combined with the strong state of the Queensland economy, we anticipate strong interest from local businesses in the state.
"We have also just come off the back of a highly successful National Manufacturing Week exhibition in Sydney, with exhibitors reporting high levels of interest and strong leads and inquiries - something which augers well for a successful QMan 2006 in Brisbane in October," said Gorton.
