PJL Diesel Electric will display the new VG386 alternator and Iskra Planetary Drive starter motors on Stand 2805 during Reed Exhibitions' AIMEX 2007 – Asia Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition, to be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from September 4 to 7, 2007.
The VG386 alternator fills the need for a 24V alternator that delivers high amperage but has low speed charge characteristics, for applications like underground equipment that sits idle regularly but draws high current for lights, air conditioners, etc.
The Iskra Planetary Drive starter motors weigh only 13.5kg, yet offer high torque for maximum starting power in 12V (6.5kW) and 24V (9kW) applications. Their compact design and rotatable front housing makes them easy to install in cramped locations, while their low power consumption prolongs battery life. They are designed to replace Delco 37MT – 50MT starters.
PJL will also show the new GENR8 range of industrial auto electrical equipment.
