A medium to long range infrared thermometer designed to measure small targets without contact will be demonstrated by IRtek International on stand 4923 during Reed Exhibitions' National Manufacturing Week at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre from May 27 to 30.
IRtek LR300 has a distance-to-spot ratio of 300:1, a temperature range of -20°C to 280°C and weighs 1 kg.
IRtek LR300 has a riflescope and a measuring distance of 2 m to 15 m.
IRtek LR300 is widely used in the electricity and railways industries to measure the temperature of:
- Transmission lines and
- Substation equipment junctions
IRtek LR300 is also used for safety monitoring as part of plant maintenance procedures.
Developed by WA-based IRtek International, the IRtek LR300 is currently being used to check electricity transmission lines throughout Egypt following the Egypt Electricity Distribution Company’s purchase of five of the thermometers.
