Cove Engineering will be showcasing the new Smart Frame conveyor idler changing system on Stand B1031 during AIMEX 2007 – Asia Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition, to be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from September 4 to 7, 2007.
This patented conveyor idler system allows individual conveyor idlers to be safely manipulated and removed from a designated walkway, without the need to physically enter the “active” conveyor zone.
This is achieved via an automatic disengagement/engagement process, while remaining idlers support the belt. The Smart Frame system suits new and existing conveyor systems; in both carry and return applications.
The need to lift the belting to access an idler is eliminated as is the possibility of injury or plant damage from falling idlers.
Both Cove and newly appointed worldwide distributor Ludowici Australia (Stand 2011) will display a working Smart Frame model at AIMEX.
