Cobra South Pacific will showcase a new range of Depreux solid woven conveyor belting and Goro belt fasteners on Stand 3107 during AIMEX 2007 – Asia Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition, to be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from September 4 to 7, 2007.
The Depreux PVG solid woven AS S (FRAS) belt provides superior tear resistance and flexibility than multiply belt in many instances, while having comparable durability and mechanical performance characteristics and using the same chloroprene covers.
It joins the Depreux PVNi (Nitrile Rubber Covered) and PVC (Thermoplastic Covered) ranges that have been successful in the Australian underground mining industry.
The new Goro X3 is a solid strip fastener for underground use, with good holding and wear resistance properties. It suits belt tensile strengths to 2500 kN/m, widths to 1800mm, and thicknesses of 10-18mm.
The hydraulic X3 fastener installation machines provide a cost-effective option for semi-automatic installation with either pneumatic or electric power sources.
