RedPrairie Corporation has released that it will be rolling out its Enterprise Workforce Optimisation suite at leading specialty retailer Ann Taylor during 2007. Enterprise Workforce Optimisation suite, which is designed to bring a more disciplined approach and process to resource and labour deployment in retail stores, was successfully piloted at the Ann Taylor Stores division in 2006 and will be rolled out company-wide in 2007.
The rollout will leverage several components of the Workforce Optimisation Suite, specifically forecasting, automated scheduling, dashboard, business process workflows, and e-learning courseware, as well as the system’s metric reporting and analysis tools.
According to Ann Taylor, they wanted a robust tool to help its managers deploy labour more effectively in response to client traffic in its stores and evaluated a number of providers in this area. Following the successful pilot of elements of the Enterprise Workforce Management suite in Ann Taylor Stores division, they came to the conclusion that a broader rollout was the right direction for its business and that RedPrairie was the right partner for it.
According to RedPrairie, Ann Taylor is an elite brand in women’s apparel, and serves a distinctive clientele. Ann Taylor is a leader in the retail market, and RedPrairie is to support them with its Workforce Optimisation toolset.
