RedPrairie named leaders in warehouse management report

Supplier News

REDPRAIRIE has been named leaders in Gartner Inc.'s 2006 Warehouse Management System (WMS) Magic Quadrant report.

The comprehensive evaluation serves as a research tool, characterising the WMS market, its vendors and their solutions.

The report is based on two categories of performance criteria, including vendors' abilities to execute and their completeness of vision.

RedPrairie is one of the fastest growing supply chain company in the world, with revenues growing from $60 million in 2001 to $170 million in 2006.

The company has a worldwide presence in 23 locations and are able to leverage over 30 years of helping customers optimise their supply chains.

RedPrairie’s growth over the past five years has its roots in continued solution enhancement helping them to position the company as a provider of end-to-end supply chain systems.

The Magic Quadrant is a graphical representation of a marketplace at a specific time period. It depicts Gartner's analysis of how certain vendors measure against criteria for that marketplace, as defined by Gartner.

Gartner does not endorse any vendor, product or service depicted in the Magic Quadrant and does not advise technology users to select only those vendors placed in the "Leaders" quadrant.

The Magic Quadrant is intended solely as a research tool, and is not meant to be a specific guide to action.
