RedPrairie has announced the agenda for its upcoming user conference, RedShift:2008, Synchronising Supply Chain & Retail, May 5 - 8 at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, Florida.
RedShift generates new ideas and information-sharing on how to improve supply chain, retail and manufacturing operations through industry-specific roundtable discussions, customer-led breakout sessions and networking opportunities.
Keynote speakers for the event include Dr. Arthur B. Laffer, a world-renowned economist often considered the father of supply side economics. Laffer will present the economic outlook, which looks at the current economic environment and offers thoughts on where it is headed - short term, long term, domestically and globally - with prospects for investments, interest rates and business growth.
Lora Cecere, AMR research director, will moderate the Global E²e Technology Trends Media Panel.
This media panel will discuss four of the hottest topics for retail and supply chain leaders - the impending labour squeeze resulting from retiring Baby Boomers; the last metre of the supply chain; the potential of single button recalls, and the challenges with implementing green, or sustainability, initiatives.
