RedPrairie Corporation’s acquisition addresses shippers’ critical need for fleet management solutions and extends redprairie’s e2etm global transportation solution
to address last mile, same day delivery.
RedPrairie Corporation, a leading consumer driven optimisation company, has completed its acquisition of GEOCOMtms. The combined company, operating under the name RedPrairie Corporation, will integrate and support all products and services from both organisations within RedPrairie’s end-to-end (E2eTM) suite.
The acquisition will fulfill demands from shippers and transportation service providers for essential, robust fleet management solutions that provide route optimisation and visibility to manage same day deliveries for private and commercial fleets. RedPrairie’s Global Transportation Group will integrate and oversee GEOCOMtms’s Quebec City and Atlanta offices under the direction of RedPrairie Global Transportation Group President.
RedPrairie’s end-to-end (E2e) solutions synchronise people and products throughout the customer buying cycle to ensure goods reach the right place at the right time. At the point of sale, this means consumers have access to desired products and that the store is staffed with the right people to help them make their purchases.
In the production cycle, it means suppliers and manufacturers time and synchronise shipments and production based on demand signals from the retailer. And in the back room of the store, it means having less inventory, solving the last yard problem of the retail supply chain.
