RedPrairie has announced that it has been selected by Foster’s to supply and implement supply chain execution systems for its logistics network transformation project in Australia.
Logistics network transformation project will see the integration of Foster’s Australian former Southcorp and Beringer Blass wine, and its Carlton & United Beverages beer and Ready To Drink (RTD) logistics networks into multi-beverage facilities with the ability to provide one order and one delivery for Australian customers.
Standardised infrastructure, simplified processes and common warehouse management (WMS) and transport management systems (TMS) will be implemented to ready Foster’s to provide one delivery to Australian customers.
RedPrairie is to be part of Foster’s Group solution to reach its customers nationally with good-in-class delivery service.
Ten facilities in all States and Territories of Australia will be commissioned over the next eighteen months.
This partnership with Foster’s Group extends the existing relationship that has seen successful implementations in large Foster’s facilities in Yatala (near Brisbane) and in South Australia.
Foster's Group is a global multi-beverage company delivering a total portfolio of beer, wine, spirits, cider and non-alcohol beverages.
