ReCoila showcased its industry-specific technology for the firefighting and emergency sector at the trade show associated with the event.
According to ReCoila’s Managing Director, Mr Michael Pawson, AFAC members understand that ReCoila has been working hard for many years collaborating to develop firefighting related technology. The company is recognised today for designing and manufacturing durable cable and hose reels used for many safety and emergency applications.
Being an Australian company, ReCoila Reels has been able to work very closely with requirements on a national level, with their extensive knowledge and capability now recognised through AFAC’s invitation to exhibit at the event.
Mr Pawson observes that fire safety is a serious issue not just in the mining sector but right across Australia as general community safety comes into the reckoning as well as isolated mining operations.
ReCoila Reels was able to share its views and experience on hardware and its management at the event, including the critical need to make the right choices and maintain performance to ensure reliability of the equipment during emergency situations.
The AFAC and Bushfire CRC Conference is Australasia’s premier emergency management conference with the program addressing key issues facing this sector and contributing to a knowledge sharing and learning culture within fire, land management and emergency service agencies, and across the broader industry.
