Industrial reel specialist ReCoila Reels has added new machinery to meet increasing demand from Australian as well as export markets.
ReCoila has expanded its production machinery stocks by adding a new press brake and guillotine. The addition of these two items gives the company even greater latitude to speed up processes and increase output demanded by various industrial markets.
Managing Director, Mr Michael Pawson explains it is imperative to maintain the level of shop-floor capability to ensure deadlines and quality standards are always met so that clients don’t have to wait for their equipment.
As far as ReCoila’s stock items are concerned, they simply keep quantities at an optimum level and move them as required. However, customised solutions pose a greater challenge as they are made specifically for a client that is waiting for the equipment. The addition of new machines such as a press brake and guillotine will enhance the company’s capability and also speed up production and delivery.
Reels are made of many metal components that are laser cut and folded before welding; having more machines assists with greater speed in production. According to Mr Pawson, ReCoila’s range of technologies is forever increasing so as to serve all the diverse markets in Australia; therefore the addition of two new machines is also an indication of the overall growth the company has managed in difficult business conditions.
ReCoila reels are used across the industry spectrum including offshore platforms, emergency and rescue, dockyard and shipping, large-scale building and construction, marine, general industrial and engineering, food processing, mining and public works and infrastructure applications.
The Australian defence industry has been sourcing reels from ReCoila for more than 30 years with the range comprising mainly of PVC reels for handling air/water, welding gases and hot water among others.
ReCoila is a manufacturer of quality hose reels, serving both domestic and international markets. Its range of reels includes composite spring rewind hose and cable reels, fabricated steel reels in powder coated finish, stainless steel and aluminium with hand crank, and motorised versions.
