Fused Deposition Modelling chopper
Fused Deposition Modelling chopper

Autodesk unveiled the full scale custom chopper created with RedEye's rapid prototyping services at Autodesk University Design Innovation, 2008, tradeshow in Las Vegas.

The presentation featured a timeline from initial concept through CAD design, to rendering and leading to physical design verification of the full-scale Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) chopper.

The full-scale Fused Deposition Modelling chopper, available from RapidPro , features articulating steering, illuminating head lights and rotating wheels.

The full-scale Fused Deposition Modelling chopper was built using ABS M30 high strength production grade thermoplastic material and can give designers the functionality they look for in quality production parts. The chopper’s exterior vibrantly displayed the designer’s vision of colour for each part.
