THE Wiese pendulum bucket conveyors, available from Rapat Australasia , allow multiple discharges and completely individual line layouts to convey products in the gentlest way possible.

The buckets hang continuously in a horizontal position regardless of conveyor direction. The product remains in the bucket avoiding spillage.

With the inlet station in the horizontal, the overlapping pendulum bucket belt forms a constant closed conveyor system avoiding product loss during metered feeding.

The outlet stations can be picked at random and can be controlled either pneumatically or electrically with feedback control signals.

The free-swinging buckets can be removed from the bucket belt for cleaning without using tools.

Wiese continuous bucket conveyors consist of moulded plastic buckets connected by flexible flaps. These run quietly (<65dBa) between two Wiese rubber chains, as traction members.

Because of the stable bucket connection, a higher conveyor speed (up to 0.7m/s), and also smaller housing, can be achieved.

The drive wheels are roll-toothed avoiding a lop-sided running and slipping of the conveyor belt.

During the horizontal-vertical-horizontal transportation, the product remains safe and undisturbed in the bucket.

The buckets and belts can also be delivered in "Food Standards" specification.

At the heart of the conveyors is Wiese's toothed rubber chain as the traction member.

High tensile steel cables vulcanised into the core of the rubber chain are the tension members giving the chain its heavy duty load carrying and power transmission capability.

The rubber chain offers many advantages including:

· No metal abrasion.

· Noise level remains below 65dBa.

· Almost completely stretch and maintenance free during its life span.

· Chemically neutral and resistant.

· Can also be delivered in "food" FDA quality.

The rubber chain can be produced in any length, with either vulcanised or link connections.

Many different specifications of rubber chains are available, to suit your special needs including: Neoprene (CR), Perbunan (NBR), EPDM; SBR and HNBR.

Wiese GmbH has manufactured continuous bucket conveyors, pendulum bucket conveyors, and unit load vertical lift conveyors, for the powder and bulk handling industry since 1959, and is ISO 9002 quality certified.
