RS Components has introduced a new range of video inspection cameras featuring a compact form factor to allow faulty equipment diagnosis and accurate inspection in hard to reach locations.

The new RS branded professional-quality digital camera helps electricians and maintenance professionals check equipment and cables located in difficult-access areas for corrosion, leaks, damage, broken parts or blockages, capturing both videos and still images.

The ergonomically designed camera is simple to use and features a jog switch and trigger key for easy control. The cameras can also be operated with a single hand, leaving the free hand to guide the probe camera.

Key features of the new RS video inspection cameras include LED display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels; 45-degree viewing angle; 5.5mm diameter probe camera with minimum focus distance of 10mm, and a 1.5m long flexible hose; SD card interface; internal memory with capacity for approximately 200 photos and more than 60 seconds of video; and A/V output and USB port for easy transfer of photos and videos to other devices.

Product accessories include attachments such as a mirror, hook and magnet. The camera is powered by 3 x 1.5V AA alkaline or 3 x 1.2V AA rechargeable batteries.

The RS branded digital video inspection camera (RS part no. 790-3381) is available to purchase globally from RS stock.
