ITALIAN-built Italvibras vibrating motors have been in production since 1960.
The Italvibras MVSI S90 series of vibrating motors is one of the largest range available on the market, with centrifugal force values from 4Kg (0.04kN) to as much as 22,000Kg (220kN). DIP versions are also available.
The intrinsic structure of each model in the MVSI-S90 series represents the current state-of-the-art research conducted and acquired during the development of Italvibras electric vibrators. The resulting motors suit the most varied industrial applications.
Italvibras is the world's largest manufacturer of vibrating motors and has the ability to provide the necessary certifications for hazardous environments.
When NZ Steel went to the market recently to source a large limestone screen, its first port of call was Auckland-based RR Fisher & Co , the New Zealand agent for Italian-built Italvibras vibrating motors.
This application was unique because of the very strict design requirements for air tightness under pressure and the requirement for screens to be changed quickly and easily.
The custom-built Italvibras-powered unit has now been installed and the client has been extremely pleased with its effectiveness.
RR Fisher company director Rick Fisher says the company sells many vibrating units each year, mostly to the food processing industry and almost always custom-built to suit each particular application.
"We manufacture a large range of feeders and screens, which are then matched with the appropriate motor from the Italvibras catalogue,” said Mr Fisher.
“All the units are made to customer's specific requirements and most involve special designs."
