STEWARD, represented in Australia by RFI Industries , has released the CM40 and CM41 series of ferrite high-current, common-mode chokes provides a small form factor, high performance, economical EMI filter for noise suppression in power applications up to 75A continuous operating current.
They are available in either broad band or low-frequency materials and can cover a wide range of interference frequencies from the kHz to GHz range. The construction of the CM40 and CM41 family means that it is lighter, smaller and less susceptible to vibration than traditional wire wound filters. Sales pricing for the components is significantly less than traditional wire wound filters.
Typical applications for these parts are in power lines/power supplies for automotive, dc motor, appliance, telecom power rack and ESD applications.
