RFI Industries Pty Ltd has introduced the D series of general purpose, low cost filters for EMI applications.
These filters use a single stage filter and are intended for use in equipment to reduce or eliminate moderate amounts of conducted interference, which prevents a piece of equipment conforming to the relevant EMI specification.
The D series are small in size and are easily installed. They are available in current ratings from 1A to 200A and in different connection types (such as pigtails, spade or screw).
As a QA test, a 1 minute test voltage of 1500Vac line to line and 1500Vac line to ground is applied to each filter at manufacture. The filters also conform to climate category 25/085/21.
