NEW Japan Radio, represented in Australia by RF Parts , has released the NJM2831 low drop out regulator with on/off control.

It uses bipolar technology to achieve low noise and high ripple rejection. Its output current is 100mA and a 1.0µF small capacitor is available. Its output voltage range is from 2V to 16V serialisation.

The NJM2831 is suitable for DVC/DSC and other power supply applications. It produces 45μV rms typical noise and has a ±1% output and a low drop out voltage of 0.1V typical.
