The Nemo10 is a compact and low-cost embedded device server that is designed for OEM users who are wishing to embed Ethernet connectivity directly onto the circuit boards of equipment like security systems, POS, factory machinery and medical devices.

The Nemo10 has a standard pin space with a dual-in-line, 24-pin design for onboard installation that lets the development time be shortened.

Serial interfacing is accomplished via a TTL interface that includes serial transmit, receive, DTR and DTR lines and supports date transfer speeds up to 115.2 Kbps.

On the Ethernet side, the Nemo10 features 10 Base-T and supports static and dynamic IP address. Furthermore it is built-in with pins for LED interface, switch interface, power supply interface, data/console, and factory reset. The dimensions of this module are 45 x 45 mm (L x W). Also it features single +5V input and 0.3W low power consumption. The network-enabler can be configured locally through its serial port or remotely over a network using telnet.

On the management software side, the windows-based configuration software, HelloDevice Manager, simplifies installation and setup. And working with Serial/IP COM Port Redirector that Sena supplies, the Nemo10 generates significantly lower latency.

The benefits of integrating networking capabilities include reduced maintenance costs through remote monitoring and management, real-time access to information, and increased flexibility and performance with distributed intelligence.

The Nemo10 can enable manufacturers to jumpstart their development work by providing 10-Base-T RJ45, LEDs, a voltage regulator, a power supply circuit, TTL to RS-232, RS232 to TTL conversion hardware, RS232 DB9 connector, a factory reset switch and console/data switch.

Sena Nemo10 Embedded Device Server modules are available in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia from RF Modules Australia.
