Embedded Bluetooth serial module from RF Modules Australia

RF Modules Australia  has introduced to the Australian and New Zealand markets the new Parani-ESD100.

The Parani-ESD100 is a Class 1 type Embedded Bluetooth serial module product line designed for users who are wishing to embed Bluetooth connectivity directly onto the circuit boards of RS-232 based equipment like security systems, POS, industrial machinery, and medical devices.

The Parani-ESD100 can be connected to the device via built-in UART interface and communicate with other Bluetooth enabled devices such as mobile phones, handheld computers and laptops.

The Parani-ESD100 supports General access and Serial port profiles, and data transfer speeds up to 230Kbit/s. The dimensions of this module are 27 x 27 x 14 mm.

With no software required, the Parani-ESD100 is developed for wireless serial communications. Nominal Wireless transmit distance is 100 meters. The Parani-ESD100 can be configured and controlled by using typical AT comments.
