RF Innovations  data radio modems have been successfully used for mobile fleet telemetry in mining applications in Australia and International markets for over 7 years.

When used with Caterpillar MineStar reporting system RF Innovations’ Minelink radio network has helped to automatically download VIMS information vital to reliable vehicle operation. The right information can mean the difference between a simple service, or a broken machine and costly repair.

The flexibility of the RFI-Minelink system makes it suitable for large areas and for pockets of interest within an industrial area. The high power license free data radios offer long distance communications and self-contained portable repeater stations ensure optimal coverage for remote monitoring, even in the constantly changing environments of mine sites.

RF Innovations experience in wireless data systems in mining allows RFI to add value to the radio communication components of third party mine site installed systems such as PitRAM, VDL and Minesuite as well as systems for GPS and GIS location applications.
