McArthur and Greer signs agreement with RCR Tomlinson
Brian, Norm and Russell join the RCR Energy Service team
McArthur and Greer, based in Dunedin, New Zealand, has entered into an agreement with RCR Tomlinson , which now sees them operate under the banner of RCR Energy Service.
McArthur and Greer, established in 1962, maintain and service energy plants in the lower South Island. The decision to sell has not been made lightly by the owners, Brian MacManus, Norm Sinclair and Russell Aitken.
Careful consideration was given to the values and expectations of McArthur and Greer's customers and its possible future alignment with RCR Energy Service.
The fact that RCR Energy Service has also been in business for over 45 years and is committed to quality and high values, has convinced Brian, Norm and Russell. All three shareholders are employed by RCR Energy Service and remain part of the day to day operation. Jason Pickering has taken on the role as Dunedin service manager.
With the strong dairy commodity prices and growth in industry generally, the Dunedin office/workshop is well positioned to continue giving good service to Otago/Southland based industry.
