The 2009 Queensland Supply Chain and Logistics Conference will feature the theme ‘How far have we really come: A Decade in Review.’ The 2009 Queensland Supply Chain and Logistics Conference will be a ten year celebration of supply chain, logistics and procurement.
The 10th Annual Conference will have a programme that includes presentations from distinguished Australian and overseas speakers, including Hal Morris, Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Logistics Council, Steve Simpson who established the Unwritten Ground Rules, Garry Chalmers, Executive General Manager, Corporate Express, Derek Lundberg, General Manager, IGA (Metcash), Craig Lardner, Group Procurement Director, George Weston Foods and Simon Costa, Managing Director of Costa Group.
The 2009 Queensland Supply Chain and Logistics Conference will organise the 2009 T&L Leaders Awards, the SCL Summit and the annual charity dinner. In addition to the business programme, the social programme is designed to provide the opportunity for companies to renew existing friendships, develop additional contacts and reinforce their position within the industry.
The Supply Chain & Logistics Conference is organised by industry associations including the Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia, (SCLAA) the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP), QUT School of International Business, CIPS Australia, the Australasian Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and the South East Queensland Procurement Network group. The Australian Logistics Council (ALC) will support the event.
