Quality in Control suuplies the SoniCon SL / MV, an ultrasonic measuring and inspection system for the control of pipes in hot areas.
The ultrasonic measuring and inspection system uses Static ultrasonic sensors to carry out the measuring after the calibration sleeve which is very efficient for quality assurance and saving materials.
The inspection systems are the perfect start-up aid for pipe centring and related applications and has a very low changeover time.
At the measuring position the extruded plastic pipe has a very equal temperature distribution which is ideal for ultrasonic signal evaluation.
With fast regulation, the inspection systems have high resolution in hot plastic and easy handling with no moving parts. No moving parts reduce overall maintenance and the cost of replacement.
The threaded flange of the calibration sleeve has the same dimensions as the vacuum tank flange meaning that pre-exisitng calibration sleeves can be used without the need to rebuild.
The measuring chamber type MV is flange mounted at the front side of the vacuum tank while the adapter supports a calibration sleeve which can be swivelled.
The sensor tubes are required for centering of the measuring ring that defines the water
