Accuweigh’s QWM branch has recently visited Monier PNG in Port Moresby in order to carry out repairs to a 18m long quarry weighbridge. As part of the weighbridge repair service it was many load cells were replaced that had experienced corrosion and water ingress, leading to multiple failures.
Due to the age of the load cells fitted to this weighbridge, it was no longer economically viable to replace them. The client accepted a quote from the repairs team to replace all eight load cells with the latest design AccuCell weighbridge load cells which are manufactured fully in stainless steel and hermetically sealed to IP68 for full environmental protection.
Accuweigh’s service and repair team supplied the appropriate mounting conversion kits to allow the new load cells to be fitted to the weighbridge with minimal reworking due to the client’s need to have the weighbridge fully operational within two working days.
Ryan Paroz from Accuweigh’s QWM service branch attended site and oversaw the installation of the new load cells, then tested, calibrated and certified the weighbridge for trade use. Ryan also commissioned three PC’s fitted with Quarry Weighbridge Software to track all material leaving the quarry and then tested and calibrated a concrete batching system at the client’s request.
Accuweigh has fully trained weighbridge crews located in all mainland states providing after sales servicing, repairs and support on weighbridges of all brands and capacities.
