IQS, Inc., a recognised leader in enterprise quality and compliance management software, announced it has entered into a partnership agreement with enterprise resource planning software vendor, QAD Australia . This partnership was formed in an effort to provide joint customers with a complete, globally-supported electronic quality and compliance management solution.
IQS says it is very pleased to formalise it relationship with QAD. John Cachat, Chairman and Founder of IQS says QAD's global customer base is well suited to the IQS Enterprise Quality and Compliance Management software.
Under the agreement, QAD will co-market the IQS software, an extensive enterprise solution that supports quality and compliance management across multiple verticals, including: automotive, life sciences, FDA regulated, and any other industries trying to meet international quality standards. IQS software also supports Environmental Health and Safety and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
The new partnership is being launched with existing off-the-shelf integration. IQS software provides rapid access to critical business information and adds to the financial and inventory metrics from QAD.
Unlike spreadsheets and point solutions, IQS has assembled a single enterprise framework that supports quality and compliance, Lean and Six Sigma improvement efforts.
IQS has already developed an interface that includes customer, employee, part number, and employee tables, and dock-to-stock receiving inspection based on downloading receipts from QAD enterprise applications. Under development is processing warranty/RMA claims, internal rejections, and supplier nonconformance debits.
The IQS software provides a single-instance, multi-site, multi-lingual capability that is in high demand from QAD customers.
The IQS software functionality includes: New Program Launch, APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) integrated with MS Project, PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), customer complaints, warranty and RMA processing, supplier scorecards, document control and product data management (key characteristic files, FMEAs, Process Flows, Control Plans).
It also comprises Engineering Change Requests, Six Sigma SIPOC diagrams, a complete preventive maintenance system with spare parts tracking, an extensive calibration system including all the gage R&R studies, employee project team management, employee suggestions and employee training with a direct link to document change control.
Other features include employee job descriptions, dock to stock receiving inspection, manufacturing inspection and lab test plans, statistical process control (SPC) charts and reporting, nonconformance management, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and activity based quality cost tracking.
