THE new Orbisphere 3654 portable micro-logger, available from Pryde Measurement , is highly suited to CO2 measurements in beverage quality control and for verifying correct operation of process instrumentation.
The instrument is microprocessor-based and can store up to 500 measurement results, complete with time/date stamps for later review or down loading to a PC.
The Orbisphere 3654 is simple to operate and utilises a membrane-covered dynamic thermal conductivity CO2 detector to provide accurate, temperature compensated results in the range of 0-20g/L (or 0-1% or 0-10V/V) and at sample flow rates as low as 100mL/min.
When used in conjunction with the Orbisphere Model 29971/2 Package Sampler, the analyser can measure CO2 concentrations in virtually any type of can or bottle.
Windows-based software to simplify data acquisition and control is available. Data can be stored in text files, pasted into Windows spreadsheets or data bases for further analysis.
The program can also be used to set sampling rate for the analyser, change units of measurement and perform system diagnostics. Real time running charts can be displayed on the PC and can be easily customised as well as copied to Windows clipboard and other programs.
The Orbisphere 3654 is battery operated or can be used with an ac/dc adaptor. The instrument is provided with a large easy-to-read back-lit display and industrial grade membrane keypad.
