Protecta introduces two self retracting lifelines

PROTECTA Australia , the world's leading manufacturer solely dedicated to providing the best in fundamental fall protection has announced the launch of two NEW fall arrestors to its JRG range of self retracting lifelines. The JRG range provides an economical fall protection solution without compromising performance or safety.

The new JRG self retracting lifelines are ideal for any working environment, providing incredible durability and exceptional value. The AD216FI offers 16m of 4mm galvanised cable, whilst the AD232FI offers 32m of 4mm galvanised cable for added vertical mobility. The latest models feature an all new off-set cable port design for smooth cable retraction and extension.

With its high performance polyamide housing, the device is compact and

lightweight, weighing just 6.4kg for the 16m model and 12kg for the 32m model.

All internal components are zinc coated for added strength, corrosion resistance and extended life. It has a two pawl braking system that uses the principles of centrifugal force to keep forces to a minimum, reduce clearance requirements and arrest falls immediately.

The JRG series offers great value; all models in the range include a screw lock connecting karabiner on the housing and a self locking double action snap hook with fall indicator on the end of all cable models.

The JRG range has been specially designed to meet the needs of construction professionals, ensuring safety and reliability whilst offering outstanding quality at an affordable price.

PROTECTA has extended its height safety range with five new products. The new products include two harnesses, two anchors and a vertical lifeline kit. TSI Queensland is a Protecta distributor. The AB108AU is a full body cross over harness using a frontal fall arrest rated D-ring.
