Pronto Software has recently been awarded the 2011 Australian Business Award for Best Software for its latest product, PRONTO-Xi Dimensions.

Recognising Pronto Software among Australia’s most innovative organisations, the Australian Business Awards program recognises organisations that demonstrate the core values of business excellence, product excellence, corporate responsibility, sustainability and commercial success in their respective industries.

The Australian Business Award for Best Software Product recognises software products that demonstrate superiority, offering a point of difference from their competitors.

PRONTO-Xi Dimensions is the world’s first business software system to embed the latest IBM Cognos 10 Business Intelligence (BI) technology. Pronto Software Managing Director, David Jackman, is pleased with the recognition this business software has received and the reinforcement it offers to the company's committment to research and development, as well as maintaining long term sustainability and success for customers.

“With PRONTO-Xi Dimensions, we have re-defined enterprise resource planning, putting sophisticated BI capabilities within reach of employees, from workers on the shop floor to key managers. Now companies of all sizes can obtain powerful data access, analysis and distribution capabilities, even on a mid-sized IT budget,” says Jackman.

“PRONTO-Xi Dimensions empowers staff to make decisions on the best available information, rather than on intuition. Employees can combine business intelligence tools with their industry expertise to make decisions in ways that fundamentally transform the way the business works and manages information,” Jackman adds.

Tara Johnston, Program Director of the Australian Business Awards, says the standard of entries for 2011 was a testament to the strength and resilience of Australian businesses.
