Australian developer, Pronto Software has secured a six-figure deal with the Australian arm of Meyer Cookware for its ERP software.

Meyer Cookware selected Pronto Software’s flagship solution, PRONTO-Xi, to help reduce complexity, integrate business processes, improve work flow efficiency and automate supply chain processes.

Implementation of the ERP software started in October 2010 and June 2011 has been targeted as a go-live date.

Meyer Cookware will rollout a range of PRONTO-Xi ERP tools including:

  • Financials
  • Customer relationship management applications
  • Warehouse and distribution
  • Point-of-sale
Cookware Australia's Finance Director, Stuart Gunst believes that the major benefits from PRONTO-Xi ERP software will be improved productivity, greater data integrity and increased visibility across the business.

“Currently we have to manually prioritise orders going out the door. With PRONTO-Xi, this process will now be automated, which will improve our speed of order processing,” he said.

“What’s more, the CRM tool allows our reps remote access to the system, which means they can place orders while out on the road. Previously they had to physically write this information down and fax it back to the office, which of course lent itself to delays and human error,” added Stuart.
