The Vital safety relay is a safety module with redundant safety outputs that which can monitor up to 30 Eden door sensors and still comply with high safety levels.
The Vital safety modules are the centre of a new safety solution that makes possible the installation/connection of a range of different types of safety device in the same safety circuit and still achieve safety category 4 in accordance with AS4024-1.
The Vitechnology is based upon a dynamic single-channel concept as opposed to conventional dual-channel safety relays. Up to 30 dynamic sensors can be connected directly in the safety circuit and be supervised by only one Vital module. Vital safety modules therefore replace several safety relays.
Vital safety modules are 22.5mm in width and dynamically supervise a number of safety components. Vital’s detachable connector blocks simplify the connection, trouble-shooting and exchange of modules. Using standard cables and M12 connections the Vital safety modules and other safety components can be connected together.
