A new comprehensive Lean Office and Service training package has been developed by Productivity Australia to assist organisations to increase their competitiveness in office and service processes and procedures. The programme is offered to individuals and groups who work in an office environment or provide services to the general public or corporation.
With increasing competitiveness or restrictive budgets at both local and international levels, it is critical that every opportunity is taken to review existing processes and refine them to optimise efficiency through:
- Waste free processing
- Improvement of quality and safety
- Reducing costs and lead-time
Humanagers’ facilitators are quite experienced in a broad range of Lean Office and business improvement environments and are experts in the principles of Lean and Competitive Process Improvement.
The learning by doing, practical, project-based programme is aimed at staff, supervisors, technicians, I.T, accounts processing and accountants and trades people with at least 3 years experience. Individuals can select from a broad range of course topics that cover most aspects of business improvement requirements.
Participants are encouraged to register for a ten (10) series of course topics to ensure a well balanced set of competencies and ensuring their ability to deliver the required competitive change or improvement outcomes.
The series of half day workshops can be customised for each group and is recommended to be delivered over a period from 10 to 24 months. The programme has been developed specifically for the office and service sector and incorporates aspects of change management as well as leadership.
Participants will be required to implement or apply a range of the lean tools at their workplace and undertake a range of activities including the implementation of 5S, work flow and waste analysis as well as other visual management, work place specific lean tools and improvement projects.
