Graham Eagles of Productivity Australia worked with the Redesigning Care team at FMC in 2004/2005.
Most of his time was spent on mentoring the Redesigning Care team, working with their Sterilising Unit and Pharmacy Department and also gave training to other hospital staff in lean thinking principles and tools.
In the very early stages of the Redesigning Care team's formation, they attend Graham Eagles' topic on "Lean Manufacturing Systems" at Uni SA. In this course they learnt a great deal about lean thinking and lean management including a thorough background in the origins of lean and participated in many practical sessions as part of the course.
They feel that they benefited from Graham Eagles' extensive experience in applying these principles in the field and the many practical tips and suggestions he was able to give them.
They feel that Graham Eagles has been an important contributor to the lean knowledge and applied practices of their team.
