Process Systems are pleased to announce the release of its reliable and cost effective range of duckbill check valves.

The check valves require minimal maintenance by virtue of their simple one-piece design and reinforced rubber construction.

These features eliminate the need for rust and seize prone mechanical and metal components that typically feature in conventional flap gates and check valves.

The check valves are a passive - reactive device that do not require an external power source or mechanisms to operate.

The check valves feature a rubber sleeve that is normally closed; however it will react and open with as little as 1 inch of head pressure.

This ensures they always provide maximum flow with minimal pressure drop across the valve.

This ease of operation reduces standing water in sewer pipes where mosquitoes and other pests can thrive.

The all flexible construction will pass large objects without blockage yet offers exceptional back flow prevention and can even seal around trapped solids with as little as 1 psi of back pressure.

Flanged duckbill check valves also feature in the new range. This product is comprised of  a reinforced rubber flange with metal backing rings for bolting to headwalls, tank walls and pipe flanges.

The insertable duckbill check valves are designed to fit right inside the pipe and they do not require a valve body. This makes the insterable duckbill check valves both cost-effective and easy to install.

Finally, the slip-on duckbill check valves feature a reinforced flexible sleeve end with heavy duty clamps for ease of attachment.

The check valves are comprised of high quality materials, including an  outer layer specially formulated to repel the growth of marine organisms.

The check valves are ideal for use across a range of applications,  including storm water outfall, flood control systems, pumping stations  and wet wells, among many others.

The check valves are typically constructed with a natural gum rubber  inner tube with a multi-resistant Neoprene outer cover, however other elastomers are available.

Each product in the new range boasts unique features that are bound to assist the needs and purposes of individuals regardless of the application.
