Leading fire and gas detection company, ProDetec has released its Oldham BM25 multi-gas monitoring system in a wireless version.
Offering greater flexibility for a wider range of applications, the Oldham BM25 multi gas monitoring system can detect up to five gases simultaneously and can include up to 30 devices in a standard network. Using a MESH network topology, the BM25 Wireless gas monitoring system connects peer-to-peer allowing each device in a network to receive, send, and relay data.
Should a device fail or an obstruction occur, automatic re-routing of communication takes place, allowing the network to remain in operation; communication can also route around line-of-sight obstacles, forming multiple networks when necessary. When the obstruction is removed communication quickly reverts to one network.
Key features of the BM25 Wireless gas monitoring systems include NiMH battery pack offering up to 135 hours of continuous run time; compatibility with Detcon’s Model X-40 controller (also available from ProDetec); STEL and TWA values; data logging capacity of up to four months; intrinsically safe trickle charger available for long-term area monitoring in classified zones; and ATEX and IECEx approvals.
The robust and rugged BM25 Wireless multi gas monitoring systems are fast and easy to deploy, provide versatility in coverage, and increase worker safety.
