Fire risk in the baked products industry comes from the constant exposure to high temperatures from ovens. Given that almost all baked products have ignition temperatures very close to the average oven operation temperature, there is a constant latent risk of products going up in flames.
This risk can be exacerbated by possible failures in temperature calibration of ovens and maintenance issues.
