Simrad GD10P and GD10PE Point Infrared Gas Detectors
The heart of our gas detection system is the Simrad GD10P and GD10PE Point Infrared Gas Detectors manufactured by Simtronics. The Simtronics range of point infrared gas detectors use patented solid state IR sources. These gas detection units are so stable as not to need field recalibration throughout their lifetime.

Gas Detection GD10PE
The high sensitivity Gas Detection GD10PE is employed for critical applications as it is more suited for large volumes of air with high velocity or for applications that require reliable detection of low gas concentrations and a fast response.

Simtronics GDU Ultrasonic Gas Leak Detectors
The Simtronics GDU Ultrasonic Gas Leak Detector responds to pressurised gas leaks. The Simtronics GDU does not detect specific values of LEL or ppm, rather, it responds to the sound generated by escaping gas at ultrasonic frequencies.

Simtronics Multispectrum Flame Detectors
Our Simtronics Multispectrum Flame Detectors have a wider viewing angle (110°) and a longer fire detection range higher than most other flame detectors on the market. They are equipped with an automatic test control, which regularly checks the functionality of detection, as well as the optical and electronic integrity of the fire control system.

Fire and Gas Detection System Details
The key behind every reliable fire and gas detection and control system is the controller / processer. The controller in our systems is an ISC Oldham MX62 which already meets the requirements of ATEX100A and offers the high level of security required by the SIL3 (EN 954-1). This is used to ensure accurate fire and gas protection which also meets customer specifications.
