A motorised reflector within these search lights precisely sweeps the beam through the sky with up to 50° of pan and tilt, while high reflectivity optics and precision focus settings ensure a bright light beam that is normally visible at distances of more than 20 km.
Housed in a zinc plated steel body and finished in scratch resistant polyurethane paint, these units are completely weatherproofed against even extreme weather conditions, withstanding temperatures that range from as low as -30°C and as high as +50°C.
Multiple Imperial search lights can be operated in synchrony, with control features that include six stand alone preset sequences inbuilt. Control of these is on board, as is pan, tilt and speed settings. Alternatively, full control of all functions can be achieved through four channels of DMX512 digital standard.
