HAMMOND Manufacturing has released the 1594RFI series of heavy duty, thick wall, RFI-conductive plastic enclosures.
Designed for EMI/RFI shielding applications using conductive plastic - a compound of plastic and stainless steel fibres - the enclosures are available from Prime Electronics .
These rugged electronic instruments enclosures are ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards. Moulded from a compound of stainless steel fibres and flame retardant ABS plastic (UL flammability rating 94V-0) the enclosures, in black with a matte textured finish, offer protection to IP54.
The countersunk lid is secured with four M3 x 18mm long Philips head nachine screws threaded into integral brass bushings - useful in applications where repetitive assembly and disassembly is required.
