Prescription Safety Glasses’ optical products are available via a network of over 500 outlets in Australia, PNG, New Zealand, Indonesia and other areas of South East Asia.
Prescription Safety Glasses’ current frame range consists of over 140 style, colour and size variants. Prescription Safety Glasses’ lens range includes every impact compliant lens type and material available in the region.
All prescription safety eyewear must meet the relevant Standards for both impact and optical performance. Each frame and lens combination in the PSG range is tested to meet the Australian and International Standards requirements of AS/NZs1337.6, AS/NZs1337, AS2228, ANSI Z87.1-2003 (medium impact) & EN166-F (low energy medium impact). StandardsMark license SMKH21382 was issued to Prescription Safety Glasses on 18/09/07 for Standard AS/NZS1337.6:2007.
All PSG products are provided with documentation, as required by the current Standard, as verification to the requirements of AS/NZs1337.6. If the products that the user is currently getting do not have this paperwork, then they are not prescription eye protectors, by definition of the Standard.
All PSG prescription safety spectacles undergo an extensive quality control process before being shipped as a completed item to the Optometrist or workplace.
