Prescription Safety Glasses (PSG) is a leader in the manufacture of standards compliant prescription safety eyewear in Australasia. Prescription Safety Glasses exclusive association with Australia's leading optical laboratory ESSILOR allows it to offer a comprehensive program of optical products to all regions and industries in Australia and South East Asia.
PSG is continually searching for new products to ensure it has the possible selection to meet the needs of employers and employees alike. Following the success of Prescription Safety Glasses ASC clip-on model frame, it has introduced 2 new clip-on models, the FCC06 and FCC07.
FCC06 and FCC07 frames are based on a stylish, more fashionable design and are proving popular with Prescription wearers. This new improved FCC06 and FCC07 model features full stainless construction and is fitted with polarised magnetic clip-ons. This FCC06 and FCC07 model has improved lens retention; FCC06 and FCC07 also uses CS06 or CS07 mk2 screw attachment clear or tinted side shields. This FCC06 and FCC07 provides medium impact protection.
All prescription safety eyewear must meet the relevant standards for both impact and optical performance. Each FCC06 and FCC07 frame model in the PSG range is tested to these rigorous standards and meets the Australian and International requirements of AS/NZs1336, AS/NZs1337, AS2228, ANSI Z87.1-2003 (medium impact) & EN166-F (low energy medium impact).
To ensure the continued supply of a superior quality product, all items produced after 1st of July 2004 have been manufactured to the physical requirements of the draft Prescription Safety eyewear standard AS/NZs1337.6. The level of protection in this new standard applied to PSG product testing is medium impact.
All PSG prescription safety spectacles undergo an extensive quality control process, before being shipped as a completed item to the optometrist or workplace.
