Tactile indicators from Premier Workplace Solutions are designed to provide assistance for visually impaired pedestrians. Their colour and raised profile patterns are specifically designed to provide vision impaired pedestrians with warning of approaching hazards and to give directional guidance.
There are two types of tactile indicators, a warning tile comprising of round, raised studs, and a directional tile comprising a series of ridge patterns.
The tiles are supplied in 300 x 300mm square tiles and are available in a variety of colours. All tiles comply with Australian standard AS1428.4-2002, have been tested and comply with slip resistance ratings and are UV stabilised.
There is no need for mixing messy epoxy resins. These tiles are supplied as standard with an aggressive, peel and stick bitumenous adhesive backing for easy installation on a variety of indoor and outdoor surfaces. Alternatively, these tiles can also be supplied without the adhesive backing. These tiles are made in Australia for Australian UV conditions.
