A new range of drill bit accessories that can drill, tap and deburr a hole in metals in commonly used metric sizes, has been released by Precision Specialty Tooling .

With a standard ¼” hex shank to fit any electric drill or pedestal, the combination drill and tap bits are a time saving and cost effective means of drilling and tapping fastener holes for the electrical, plumbing, HVAC and automotive trades, as well as home workshop applications.

Manufactured from high speed steel to ensure a long life, the drills are available in metric thread sizes M3, M4, M5, M6, M8 and M10 and are designed for use in metals up to twice the thickness of the nominal diameter.

The deburr function ensures that drill hole swarf is removed and the surface is trimmed flat on completion of the hole.
