Practical Control Solutions have announced a range of SPR-Pro and TPR-Pro power controllers for industrial heating applications. These compact single phase controllers are available with current ranges of 30A, 50A and 75A and voltage ratings of 100V, 220V, 380V, 415V, 440V, 460V AC 50/60Hz.
Control input is 4mA to 20mA with an adjustable ramp up time. An adjustable soft start is standard, with optional electronic current limit function also available. These compact SCRs can also be operated in on/off mode. Typical applications for the SPR-Pro and TPR-Pro power controllers include laboratory furnaces, pottery kilns, incubators, packaging equipment and controlled rectifiers.
