Practical Control Solutions have released the CYHCT-S4 range of hall effect transmitters for the measurement of DC current. These current sensors are available in ranges from 30 amps to 300 amps, with a selection of output types that include 0 to 20mA, 4 to 20mA, 0 to 5V and 0 to 10V DC.
CYHCT-S4 range of hall effect transmitters provide high levels of isolation between primary and secondary circuits, 2.5kV DC, and do not impose insertion loss on the circuit under measurement. A split core design and DIN rail facilitates easy installation.
CYHCT-S4 range of hall effect transmitters have the following applications:
- monitoring load and charge currents on battery banks
- measurement of current draw on traction motors
- sensing of motor stalls and shorts
- current measurement on cathodic protection rigs and on plating rectifiers
